Details
XMOS is defining a new approach to system design by building on their trusted XCORE® platform and advancing into generative AI-driven design
Strategy

XMOS is rethinking how semiconductors are designed and used. With the launch of GenSoC, they move beyond fixed-function chips toward a software-defined, adaptable platform built on XCORE®.

Our strategy focused on clarifying this shift: positioning XMOS as a trusted engineering partner while signalling a more open, scalable, and forward-looking approach to system design. The aim was to make a complex proposition feel accessible without diluting its technical depth.

Design

The new identity translates modularity and adaptability into a clear visual system. At its core is the new XMOS logo, designed to suggest expansion, configuration, and multiple paths forward. A simple set of geometric forms combine into a flexible mark that reflects how XMOS technology scales and adapts across applications.

The wider design system balances precision with personality, pairing strong structure with an expressive visual language that supports both engineers and decision-makers.

Result

The new brand and website launched alongside GenSoC, presenting XMOS with a clearer, more confident presence.

The identity supports their evolution into generative, software-defined system design while reinforcing their reputation for reliability and technical excellence.

The result is a platform that feels modern and open, without losing the trust built through years of engineering-led innovation.
